Qualifications
B.A or B.S.
Counseling experience (especially for substance abuse)
Credentialed Counselor Preferred (CADC, LPCA, LPCC)
Flexible hours
Role and Responsibilities
Provide diagnosis, treatment and assessment for clients with substance abuse
Conduct individual/group therapy sessions by utilizing various counseling theories such as cognitive behavior, rational emotive and reality therapy
Provide support to client and family
Complete treatment plans, progress notes and treatment plan reviews
Schedule clients for assessment and therapy sessions
Assist in all administrative documentation: intakes, charting, billing
Provide drug screens as requested
Provide accurate reports by given deadlines
Prepare for Utilization Review
20 CEU requirements per year
4 hours of face-to-face clinical supervision per month with Clinical Supervisor
Complete one week of on the job training and orientation
Attend staff meetings and trainings
