POSITION
Summary:
The Marketing Specialist position plays an important administrative role in the Marketing Department which includes marketing, communication, document creation, document management, data entry, and scheduling.
The Marketing Specialist plays a vital role in representing the marketing department inside and outside of the organization.
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Bachelors Degree (preferred)
A minimum of 2 years of administrative and management setting familiarity
Marketing and team building skills.

Substance abuse experience preferred.

Appropriate State and Federal Clearances
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of Federal, State, and Municipal laws and/or regulations that regulate the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction
Attention to detail and organization
Computer literate
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize work and work-related responsibilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle crisis situations in a calm and supportive manner
Ability to exhibit professional and courteous behavior, consistent with the ARC mission statement, when interacting with persons of varying backgrounds and education levels to create a safe and healthy relationship with clients served Roles and Responsibilities
Keep a running list of ARC Local employees and email groups (60-mile radius).
Update monthly.

Provides general administrative assistance to the Marketing Manager including but not limited to document management, data entry, bookkeeping, and scheduling.

Client retention efforts including but not limited to ordering, distribution, and tracking of client retention items.

Lead the Client Council
Assist in building and maintaining new functions in the marketing department.

Work w/Marketing Team and other teams inside of ARC and outside of ARC to further the mission.

Working knowledge of the regular policies and practices utilized in both residential and outpatient facilities as well as other functions and programs operated by ARC.

Must be a self-starter that is task orientated, organized, and punctual.

Maintain excellent email/phone etiquette
Effectively and efficiently manage schedules.

Assist with company-wide initiatives.

Community marketing events
Assist in maintaining a culture where each employee is engaged and feels valued by the organization
Assist in cultivating and sustaining a culture of employee engagement, fostering employee retention, and maximizing the employee lifecycle.

Efforts to ensure that all departments align with the overall mission of the company.

Participate in staff, and state regulatory training as required
Adhere to program policies and procedures while maintaining a professional code of ethics
Maintain a valid drivers license
Monthly email reminders/Sober Fun Tracker, Client Care Items Form, etc.
